The origin of these posters came from the elections in Thailand during 2014. Thai people were fed up with the candidates of the election, so they decided to create these instead. To make the Thais vote ‘NO’ against all the candidates that were running for prime minister.

This is propaganda because the posters are trying to portray a type of image that is going to sway how the Thai people view the candidates. The translation on the posters says 'Don't let animals join our government'. They are trying to say that the candidates are unfit for the position and that they will trick and corrupt you.

    A couple of these ads use a social aim. "People will notice..." or a video of a beautiful day and a couple on a date, and the narrator saying "How can you add to it?" are examples. This wants to make people feel like their cigarettes are something that adds richness to their lives and mental, social needs. This can be primarily what people struggle with while addicted to substances.
