More than anything, I read this as showing the futility of social media campaigns against radical terrorism. I understand the show of solidarity, but the tired expressions on each character's face, I feel, is directly related to the overall attitude of Europe: beaten and exhausted but without a clear path towards fixing a very pertinent issue.

Contrary to another commenter, I see the faces in the crowd almost laughing at him. And, although it might be accurate of our leaders position, it's depressing.

Being an American and feeling great responsibility for his situation. The least we could do is "make some room".

This isn't really harmful. It's just pointing out where other terrorism attacks have occurred, and it's not really benefitting with strong emotion either. Nobody is being offended, it's just a factual list, so no harm no foul.
